I am the type of runner that has to have something on his head when out for a run. I am fan of headbands and caps. I have been a BUFF® USA Headband wearer for a long time now, so naturally I wanted to try out their new Pack Run Cap.
I wear caps all the time, mainly on days when I don’t want to shower and my hair is kind of scary looking, so I was pumped to add the run cap to my collection.
This was my first official running cap so I was excited to get it. The first thing I did was wear it to the farmers market. Of course, that is the best way to test it out a running product. It passed my test of making me look good without showering. Super comfortable to wear. It was hot so it was nice that it was breathable.
The true test came during my runs. Grabbed my Brooks, grabbed my Aftershokz, quick download of the newest BibRave Podcast, and I was out the door with my new BUFF® USA Pack Run Cap. It was a billion degrees out and super sunny.
The cap is like one ounce so it weighs nothing on your head. It is made from ultra lightweight material. Three main things about the run: it stayed on my head, it covered my eyes, and it wicks away moisture. That pretty much crosses all the important things off my list.
The cap is stylish, its light weight and it’s made out of high quality materials. I like that I can just throw it in my car, bag, or back pocket and be on my way. I also ride my mountain bike all the time, and this hat fits perfectly under my helmet. When you are on the trails there is a lot of trees and light can break through the trees and smack you in the eyes. It’s really nice to have the brim to cover the eyes on the trail.
