The Summer is always a crazy busy time for everyone. It fills up quickly and it seems that every weekend is booked up before the Summer even starts. It has been exactly that for me. Between the traveling that I do for work, the travel I want to do for fun, and the races I want to run, I have been busy and will continue to be busy.

Luckily there are a couple things that I do that allow me to keep an adaptive daily routine. I enjoy doing things, whether that’s to check out a new brewery, walk around the city, try some new food, or rediscover something that I haven’t done in a while. Because of that, the things that I want to get done in a day are a moving block of time.

For example, when I am in a new city, I like to explore the area that I am in by going for a run. When I travel for work we usually do a team dinner or happy hour and because of that I do my runs in the morning. If I am traveling for fun, I am usually staying up a little too late, so I would do my run in the afternoon or evening time.

I also like to double up on some tasks. I often work on projects while I am on a conference call. Usually I just need to be a part of the call to know what is going on but do not need to contribute. So often I will throw on my AfterShokz headphones and listen in. They are Bluetooth and don’t have any wires, so I am able to continue to listen in and contribute when needed and still be able to walk around and get things done.

I love to listen to podcasts, but most of the time they require me to be able to take a note or remember something that is said. I also use my AfterShokz Trekz Air headphones while listening to podcasts because I am able to use the multi-function button and ask Siri to set a reminder for myself.

Being able to keep things organized in a way that I know what needs to be done in a day, but flexible enough to allow me to move things from morning to evening or afternoon to nighttime, is super productive for me. If I can move the time that I need to work on a personal project to the morning, that will allow me to take a conference call while I am making lunch. And AfterShokz headphones will help me with that.

How do you manage your day? Do you update your schedule every night before the next day? What are your thoughts on multi-tasking?
